Abstract:
A printer, wherein a ribbon feed shaft drive motor (8) and a ribbon windup shaft drive motor (10) are drivingly controlled independently of each other. When a ribbon state is not changed, after a control cycle is repeated for a set time, the rotating speeds of these drive motors (8) and (10) are increased stepwise.
