Abstract:
A ribbon guide (11) is fitted to a protective cover (10) for covering heat-dissipating
fins of a print head. A structure comprised of a receiving recessed part (22) and
a sloped guide (24) for engagement with the ribbon guide (11) is provided on the
protective cover (10) side. Furthermore, members for receiving the ribbon guide
(11), which has a shape corresponding to that of the structure comprised of the
receiving recessed part (22) and the sloped guide (24) of the protective cover
(10), are provided on the ribbon guide (11) side. Consequently, the ribbon guide
(11) can be fitted to the protective cover (10) by one operation such that the ribbon
guide (11) is pushed into the protective cover (10) from the front to the rear thereof.
