Abstract:
This printer (1) is provided with a cutter mechanism (7) and a peeling mechanism (6). When an operator slides an operation lever (28) to the left, the tip of a peeling plate (15) of the peeling mechanism (6) rotates downwards, and a pulling roller (19) retracts from a platen roller (31). A selector switch (29) supplies an OFF signal to a control unit (10), and the control unit (10) controls the cutter mechanism (7). A label continuous body (P) is cut by means of the cutter mechanism (7), and is eliminated from an elimination port (1c). If the operator slides the operation lever (28) to the right, the tip of the peeling plate (15) rotates upwards, and the pulling roller (19) presses against the platen roller (31) with a pasteboard (D) therebetween. The selector switch (29) supplies an ON signal to the control unit (10). A label (L) of the label continuous body (P) is peeled from the pasteboard (D) by means of the peeling plate (15) and is eliminated from the elimination port (1c). The pasteboard (D) is eliminated from the pasteboard elimination port (1a).
