Abstract:

The present invention addresses the problem of providing a printing agent having few coarse particles, and capable of achieving a print exhibiting excellent print characteristics, particularly color fastness to washing and color fastness to rubbing. The present invention relates to a printing agent containing: a polyhalogenated metal phthalocyanine pigment or a diketopyrrolopyrrole pigment; water; an organic solvent; a binder resin; and a polymer (A) serving as a pigment disperant and having an anionic group, wherein the solubility thereof in water is 0.1g/100ml or less, and the number-average molecular weight thereof is within the range of 1000-6000, said polymer (A) forming microparticles in water when said anionic group is neutralized at a rate of 100% by a basic compound.
