Abstract:
Provided is a printing cassette that makes it possible to easily confirm the orientation thereof. Disclosed is a printing cassette that comprises: a printing tape roll on which a printing tape is wound around an axis that is parallel to a first direction; and a case that accommodates the printing tape roll. The case has: an opening that exposes a printing tape to the outside; a first outer surface and a second outer surface that intersect the first direction and sandwich the printing tape roll in the first direction; a first recess that is recessed from the peripheral edge of the first outer surface in a second direction that intersects the first direction; and a second recess that is recessed from the peripheral edge of the second outer surface in the second direction. The second outer surface has a notch that demarcates a portion of the opening. At least a portion of the first recess overlaps at least a portion of the second recess as seen from a direction parallel to the first direction.
