Abstract:
An embodiment of the present disclosure provides a printing device comprising: a body configuring the outer appearance thereof; a coupling part formed on the body to be capable of being physically coupled to an assistance device; a recognition part formed on the body to recognize the assistance device so as to determine whether the coupling part and the assistance device are coupled; and a controller. The controller is configured to configure the printing device to be in a state of performing a basic function when it is recognized by the recognition part that the assistance device and the coupling part are not coupled to each other, and configure the printing device to be in a state of performing an individual function changed from the basic function according to the coupled assistance device when it is recognized by the recognition part that the assistance device and the coupling part have been coupled to each other.
