Abstract:
According to the present invention, correction is made to sizes of ink droplets programmed to be discharged to each of pixels P stipulated by image data Di (discharge data). Specifically, on the basis of comparison between a size of an ink droplet programmed to be discharged from a nozzle 52 to a preceding pixel Pa (first discharging condition) at a timing T1 (first timing), and a size of an ink droplet programmed to be discharged from the nozzle 52 to a target pixel Pt (second discharging condition) at a timing T2 (second timing), the size (amount) of the ink droplet that the nozzle 52 discharges to the target pixel Pt is corrected (steps S105, S106). Thus, a situation can be handled in which judgment is made that effects of residual vibration will increase, on the basis of the sizes of ink droplets for the preceding pixel Pa and the target pixel Pt indicated by the image data Di.
