Abstract:

Disclosed is a printing device provided with a transfer roller (33) for transferring an image formed on a transfer film (46) to a card, a releasing member (34b) for releasing the transfer film (46) from the card after the image transfer, and a transfer roller lifting/lowering means (61) and a releasing member lifting/lowering means (62) for lifting/lowering the transfer roller (33) and releasing member (34b), respectively. Thereby, the transfer roller (33) and the releasing member (34b) are respectively lifted/lowered at a predetermined time before the transfer and after the transfer, so that stable image forming can be always performed without damaging or deforming the transfer film.
