Abstract:
The invention addresses the problem of forming an ink coating film of a prescribed thickness on the surface of a print medium having a three-dimensional structure in a shorter time. The solution is a printing method that comprises multiple scanning processes. On regions that face the head squarely (10a, 10c), ink (80) is discharged in a single scanning process with the region facing the print head (110) squarely. On regions that do not face the head squarely (10b), ink (80) is discharged in two or more scanning processes with the region not facing the print head (110) squarely so that the total thickness of the ink coating films (11, 12) formed is a previously determined film thickness (T0).
