Abstract:
The present invention improves usability by making it possible for different measures regarding the refunding of paid charges to be taken in accordance with the reason that printing is to stop after a user has given an instruction that printing is to stop. A printing system 1 that includes: a printing unit 290 of a combination machine 200 that performs printing based on printing jobs for which billed charges have been paid; and a plurality of buttons 242p–v at which are inputted respective instructions for stopping printing that has been begun by the printing unit 290. In response to input at any of the plurality of buttons 242p–v, processors 110, 210 stop printing that has been begun by the printing unit 290 and, after the printing has been stopped, perform post-stop processing that corresponds to the input at the buttons 242p–v.
