Abstract:
Provided is a printing system capable of suppressing fluctuations in printing density during continuous printing. A printing system 100 according to the present disclosure is provided with: a transfer unit 74 that causes a thermal head 58 to generate heat to transfer dye of an ink sheet 53 onto a recording sheet 52; a printing control unit 82 that controls printing processing to control the transfer unit 74 in accordance with preset head temperature characteristics indicating a temporal change in temperature of the thermal head 58 and data on an image to be printed and perform printing on the recording sheet 52; and a printing order change unit 23 that changes, with respect to a plurality of images to be continuously subjected to printing processing, a printing order so that the sum total of a difference between a temporal change in temperature of the thermal head 58 and head temperature characteristics in printing processing of a plurality of images becomes smaller than a case in which the printing order is not changed.
