Abstract:
A method and a device for privacy protection, which relate to the field of mobile terminal technology, and can solve the safety hazards that exist in the privacy information in a mobile terminal in the prior art. By receiving the fingerprint information input by a user (101), determining an authority level corresponding to the fingerprint information (102), setting an operation authority corresponding to the authority level (103), when the non-operation time of the mobile terminal reaches a preset time, setting an operation authority corresponding to a low authority level, and the low authority level is lower than the current authority level (104). It is suitable for protecting the privacy information in the mobile terminal.
