Abstract:

A privilege granting device is provided with: a determining unit that determines whether address information coming from a user terminal fall within the purview of privilege address information; a privilege-related information generating unit that generates, when the address information from the user terminal is determined as falling within the purview of the privilege address information, privilege-related information that indicates that a website indicated by the address is a website related to granting a privilege; and a transmission unit that transmits the privilege-related information to the user terminal. Since, in such a way, a user of a user terminal can recognize that address information related to a certain access request will lead to being granted with a privilege, the user is encouraged to access the website, motivated with a prospect of being granted with the privilege. Therefore, the chances of a particular website being browsed will increase.
