Abstract:
The invention relates to the manufacturing of insulating panels 81) having an upper side (2) pressed with transverse ribs (26) which reproduce the overlapped effect of the tiles in roof. During expansion of the insulating material (5) consisting of a polymer resin, the ribs (26) rest on cradles having a corresponding profile and arranged on cross-members moved by a continuous conveyor; in this way the expansion step may be performed using the same conveyor, even when the interval between the transverse ribs (26) is changed.
