Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is not to execute an image formation operation when independently attachable and detachable cartridges are attached to an image formation device corresponding to the cartridges coupled by a coupling cover. A process cartridge PC is provided with a drum cartridge 40, a development cartridge 50, and a coupling cover 100. The drum cartridge 40 has a charge electrode E2. The development cartridge 50 has a development electrode E3. The coupling cover 100 is provided with a relay electrode ER1. The relay electrode ER1 has a first contact surface R11 that is brought into contact with the charge electrode E2, and a second contact surface R12 that is electrically connected to the first contact surface R11 and located at a position different from that of the first contact surface R11. The cartridges 40, 50 coupled by the coupling cover 100 are attachable to and detachable from a first image formation device. The cartridges 40, 50 not coupled by the coupling cover 100 are independently attachable to and detachable from a second image formation device.
