Abstract:
The present invention, which relates to a process for determining a current, is based on the task of providing a solution, with which the accuracy when measuring currents using a track shunt resistor is improved and with which the accuracy of the measurement is also maintained in the event of temperature fluctuations. To resolve this task, it is envisaged that the shunt resistor is provided as a PCB shunt resistor (6), that correction of a manufacturing defect is performed, in which an actual value R Shunt-actual of the PCB shunt resistor (6) is determined, that temperature compensation is performed, in which a temperature-corrected value R Shunt-corr of the track shunt resistor 6 is determined on the basis of the actual value R Shunt-actual of the PCB shunt resistor (6) and that calculation of the current I Shunt is performed using the value R Shunt-corr. To resolve the task, a logic arrangement (11) that performs the manufacturing defect correction and temperature compensation is also envisaged. Fig. 3
