Abstract:
Provided is a process for the hydrothermal carbonization of biomass with the co-generation of a bio-oil, comprising: mixing a biomass material with water to form a biomass suspension, and after pressurization and heat exchange through a heat exchanger, bringing the biomass suspension into a carbonization reaction kettle for a hydrothermal carbonization reaction to obtain a solid product and a gas-liquid product; processing the solid product through a high-pressure setting tank to obtain coke powder charcoal, and discharging same to a biological charcoal collector from an outlet at the bottom of the high-pressure setting tank; discharging the gas-liquid product from the top of the high-pressure setting tank, and after entering the heat exchanger for heat exchange with the biomass suspension, flowing same into a gas-liquid separator; and separating the gas-liquid product into a gas phase, an aqueous liquid phase and an oil phase in the gas-liquid separator, discharging the gas phase as a fuel for heating the carbonization reaction kettle from a gas-phase outlet at the top of the gas-liquid separator, and discharging the oil phase from a bio-oil outlet of the gas-liquid separator to obtain the bio-oil. In the present invention, by discharging the gas phase as a fuel for heating the carbonization reaction kettle from the gas-phase outlet at the top of the gas-liquid separator, a continuous production of the bio-oil is realized, which has a practical significance, so that an industrialized production can be realized.
