Abstract:
Provided are: a non-conventional high-strength fastening component made from an aluminum-based alloy, which has strength properties including tensile strength and can be manufactured by changing the timing of carrying out a heat treatment; and a process for manufacturing the fastening component. The process is characterized by carrying out a solution treatment of a material made from an aluminum-based alloy, then age-hardening the treated product, drawing an axis part in a heading step to process and harden the axis part, and subsequently subjecting the axis part to a male screw rolling processing.
