Abstract:
A process for manufacturing an explosion suppression material, in which the explosion suppression material is composed of (in wt%): Si 0.1-0.6, Fe 0.2-0.7, Cu 0.05-0.1, Mn 0.6-1.2, Zn 0.05-0.1, Ti 0.03-0.12, Na 0.02-0.07 and balanced Al. The process comprises the following steps: melting, deslagging and degassing, blank-forming, face milling, first annealing, hot rolling, cold rolling, secondary annealing, pressing, slitting and drawing. The process is simple and practical, and could produce an explosion suppression material, which is easy to machine and has excellent ability of suppressing explosion and good effect.
