Abstract:

Collapsible tubes are produced from tubing by pressing plastic tubes into a laminar top whilst bonding this to the main tube. Each of the layers of the laminar top is produced by pressing a fresh plastic item in such a way that each raw item for the following layer is only fed in to the process when its predecessor layer has become stable.
