Abstract:

A process for bleaching a silver halide photographic material having a silver halide emulsion layer comprising at least one silver bromoiodide layer and having been subjected to color developement, which comprises conducting the bleaching in the presence of a bleaching accelerator with the bleaching solution in contact with an anion exchange resin. This process is intended to accelerate bleaching and reduce the amount of waste bleaching solution.
