Abstract:
A process for producing a specific benzenesulfonic acid derivative compound, which is suitable for use as a dopant capable of imparting high electrical conductivity to $g(p)-electron conjugated polymers, which comprises contacting a specific compound with fuming sulfuric acid; a dopant comprising the derivative compound; a conductive polymeric material containing the derivative compound; and a solid electrolytic capacitor containing the conductive polymeric material as a conductive cathode material. An example of the benzenesulfonic acid derivative compound is a novel 3-sulfobenzamide derivative compound.
