Abstract:
Provided are: a process for producing a quinacridone pigment composition which has a high chroma, high coloring power, and high dispersion stability in environmentally friendly inks; and an environmentally friendly water- or alcohol-based ink characterized by containing a quinacridone pigment composition obtained by the production process.
It was discovered that by adding a quinacridone derivative in installments during a step for crystal control of a solid solution of quinacridone and after the step for crystal control, not only color properties which are high coloring power and high chroma but also high dispersion stability can be obtained. The present invention has been thus completed.
