Abstract:
Soybean grains of lipoxygenase complete deletion species are mechanically pulverized into fine powder and dried under atmospheric pressure by means of steam heated at 130 to 250&ring C. The soybean powder having been granulated by the above heat drying is inserted into interstices which are provided by two parallel boards, the boards having multiple grooves at surfaces thereof, arranged opposite to each other with given spacing while maintaining a state of relative rotation, so that grains with regulated size are formed. Thus, production of soybean powder free of unpleasant odor or unpleasant taste and production of soybean milk from the soybean power can be realized with inexpensive facilities and with shortened process.
