Title:
PROCESS FOR PRODUCING STRETCHABLE WOVEN FABRIC
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/052757
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
According to a process for producing a stretchable woven fabric in an embodiment of the present invention, for a woven fabric such as a stretchable bandage, a tentering step is performed before a dipping step, and a spreading step is performed after the dipping step. This technique can ensure the flatness of the woven fabric and the linearity of the end of the woven fabric and can realize dimensional stability without performing heating treatment while applying tension for improving the dimensional stability after the dipping step. Accordingly, in cutting the woven fabric before sewing using the woven fabric, cutting a plurality of sheets of woven fabric superimposed on top of each other in a desired positional relationship can easily be performed. Further, since improving the stretchability of the woven fabric by the dipping step is not followed by setting, a deterioration in the improved stretchability can be prevented.
