Abstract:
[Problem] To provide, through various embodiments of the present disclosure, a processing device, a program, and a method that enable execution of a virtual game rich in ideas by utilizing the placement position or the like of a player character in a virtual space. [Solution] A processing device comprising a processor configured to: place a player character and another character in a virtual game space on the basis of the placement position of the player character and the placement position of the other character stored in a memory; update and store, when receiving an instruction to move the placement position of the player character through an input interface, the placement position of the player character; and form a group of the player character and the other character when the player character and the other character are placed within a predetermined range due to at least updating of the placement position of the player character or updating of the placement position of the second character.
