Abstract:
The present application discloses a processing method for a carrier, and a baseband unit and a storage medium, which aim to select a suitable carrier for a terminal device, and can also reduce the energy consumption of an RU when the carrier provides the same service. The processing method comprises: acquiring a signal quality measurement report; on the basis of the signal quality measurement report, determining a first carrier set, and a first spectral efficiency corresponding to each first carrier in the first carrier set; on the basis of a first relationship, and the first spectral efficiency corresponding to each first carrier, determining a first energy consumption increase coefficient corresponding to each first carrier, wherein the first relationship is used for indicating a correlation between the energy consumption of a radio unit (RU) and a load of a carrier, the carrier is a carrier corresponding to the RU, and the first energy consumption increase coefficient reflects an energy consumption increase speed corresponding to a physical resource increase; and selecting a target carrier on the basis of the first energy consumption increase coefficient corresponding to each first carrier, and instructing a target terminal device to reside in a cell corresponding to the target carrier.
