Abstract:
This disclosure relates to: a processing system that make it possible to transfer, between servers, a media processing task requiring continuity of processing; an information processing device; and a method. This processing system comprises a task management unit that manages a plurality of media processing tasks executed by one or more servers. If a media processing task being executed by a first server which is one of the plurality of servers is to be transferred to a second server which is different from the first server, the task management unit acquires the capabilities of a plurality of servers that are transfer destination candidates. The capability includes: the presence/absence of persistent storage capable of storing data for a media processing task independent of the execution state of the media storage task; and location information therefor. The technology of this disclosure is applicable to a media processing system or the like that processes media using a 5G network.
