Abstract:
The present invention relates to a product of acetalization of an ethylene/vinyl alcohol copolymer, the acetalization product comprising 20-80 mol% ethylene units and 4-76 mol% vinyl alcohol units, with respect to all the monomer units constituting the acetalization product, having a degree of acetalization of 5-80 mol%, and satisfying relationship (1): 0.75≤W0.05h/2f≤1.00 [wherein W0.05h/2f indicates symmetry coefficient determined in accordance with JIS K 0124:2011] and relationship (2): 1.27≤Tm/Tg≤1.35 [wherein Tm and Tg respectively indicate fusion peak temperature (Kelvin) and midpoint glass transition temperature (Kelvin) both determined in accordance with JIS K7121:2012].
