When a machining planning unit (15) of a production management device (1) in a production management system (100) determines that there are a plurality of machining equipment (4) subject to calculation which are running and are capable of executing a process to be allocated, an average work time computation unit (12) computes an average work time for each piece of machining equipment (4) subject to calculation on the basis of production results information. For each piece of machining equipment (4) subject to calculation, a movement time computation unit (13) computes the movement time of a conveyance device (2) to the piece of machining equipment 4. A planned completion moment computation unit (14) computes a planned completion moment of a task for each piece of machining equipment (4) subject to calculation on the basis of the average work time, the movement time, and a possible processing moment. The machining planning unit (15) allocates the process to the piece of machining equipment (4) having the earliest planned completion moment, and transmits, to a conveyance management device (3), conveyance information indicating the piece of machining equipment (4) to which the process has been allocated. The conveyance management device (3) transmits, to the conveyance device (2), a movement instruction for conveying a feed article for the process to the piece of machining equipment (4) indicated by the conveyance information.
