Abstract:
Provided is a production method for an all-solid-state lithium battery, said production method comprising: a step for preparing a self-supporting positive electrode plate that has a thickness of 20 µm or more and that comprises a sintered body containing a plurality of crystal grains configured from a positive electrode active material; a step for forming a solid electrolyte layer configured from a lithium ion-conducting material on the positive electrode plate without attaching the positive electrode plate to a current collector; and a step for obtaining a laminate that is a unit cell by forming a negative electrode layer containing lithium on the solid electrolyte layer. This production method makes it possible to reduce various types of stress occurring during formation of the solid electrolyte layer and the negative electrode layer. As a result, it is possible to produce an all-solid-state lithium battery having high energy density at a low cost with high productivity.
