Abstract:
Provided is a production method for cholesteric liquid crystal resin fine particles. The production method for cholesteric liquid crystal resin fine particles having a volume average particle size ranging from 1 μm to 30 μm, is characterized by comprising an atomization step for atomizing droplets containing a cholesteric liquid crystal compound, by performing shearing treatment with use of a dispersion device, on a cholesteric liquid crystal mixture containing the cholesteric liquid crystal compound, an inorganic colloid, and an aqueous medium.
