Abstract:
By using this production method for a fluorinated aromatic secondary amine compound comprising reacting a fluorinated aromatic primary amine compound with a chlorinated, brominated, or iodinated aromatic hydrocarbon or a pseudohalogenated aromatic hydrocarbon in the presence of a catalyst containing a complex of palladium(0) with dibenzylidine acetone, a ligand represented by formula (L), and a base, it is possible to easily and efficiently produce a secondary amine compound having, in the molecule, a fluoroaryl moiety, by causing a fluorinated aromatic amine compound and a chlorinated, brominated, or iodinated aromatic hydrocarbon or a pseudohalogenated aromatic hydrocarbon to undergo a coupling reaction, without a special catalyst. (Each R1 independently represents an alkyl group having 1-20 carbon atoms or the like, R2-R5 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1-20 carbon atoms, or the like, R6-R8 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1-20 carbon atoms, or the like.)
