Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a novel and improved production method that is for a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet and that enables production of a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet having a high magnetic flux density and excellent magnetic characteristics. [Solution] An embodiment of the present invention provides a production method that is for a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet, and that is characterized by comprising a hot rolling step, a cold rolling step, a primary recrystallization-annealing step, a finishing-annealing step, and a planarization-annealing step, and is characterized in that a shot blast process and/or a leveler process and a solution contact process are performed, the solution contains a predetermined amount of Cu or the like, the pH of the solution is at least -1.5 but less than 7, the temperature of the solution is 15-100°C, and the time during which the steel sheet is immersed in the solution is 5-200 seconds.
