Abstract:
Provided is a production method for a guide shoe of a passenger conveyor, said guide shoe being capable of suppressing sliding noises during long-term operation of passenger conveyor. This production method for a guide shoe of a passenger conveyor comprises: a molding step in which a guide shoe, which makes contact with a skirt guard of a passenger conveyor, is formed using a mold; and a machining step in which, after the molding step, the flatness of a contact portion of the guide shoe that is in contact with the skirt guard is further improved by means of machining. This production method makes it possible to suppress sliding noises during long-term operation of a passenger conveyor.
