Abstract:
Provided is a production method that is for a smoking article comprising a cigarette rod, a cooling segment in contact with the cigarette rod, and a filter segment, and that comprises: (A) a step for disposing an adhesive agent on one of the surfaces of a chip paper so as to form a portion in which the per-area weight of the hardened adhesive agent is great and a portion in which the same is small, the portion in which the weight of the adhesive agent is great being provided in a region where the cigarette rod is wrapped; and (B) a step for preparing a composite segment including the cigarette rod, the cooling segment, and the filter segment, and wrapping the composite segment with the chip paper.
