Abstract:
Disclosed is a light diffusion sheet (1) that is provided with a light diffusion section (2) and light absorption sections (3) between a base film (6) and a light transmission sheet (4). Specifically, the light diffusion section (2) is formed upon the base film (6), and a plurality of depressions (5) are provided in the light diffusion section (2). Additionally, a top base film (6) is formed upon the light diffusion section (2). Furthermore, the light absorption sections (3) are formed in the interior of each depression (5) in the light diffusion section (2), and there is a space between said depressions (5) and the light absorption sections (3). The light absorption sections (3) are formed by means of a material that shrinks in response to external stimuli and has light blocking properties, and the light absorption sections (3) can be formed by filling said material into the depressions (5) and shrinking the material through the application of an external stimulus.
