Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a production method for an NPR new material slab by means of converter and continuous casting. The components of the NPR new material slab are: C: 0.35-1%, Mn: 15-24%, Al: 0-5%, NPR crystal: ≤5%, Si: ≤0.3%, S: ≤0.001%, P: ≤0.008%, N: ≤0.006%, Cr: ≤0.01%, Ni: ≤0.2%, Ca: ≤0.01-0.05%, and Cu: ≤0.03%. The production method comprises the following steps: a converter steelmaking process; an LF refining process; an RH refining process; and a slab continuous casting process. The production method for an NPR new material slab by means of converter and continuous casting provided in the present invention effectively solves the problems in the prior art of low yield, high production cost, and low production efficiency of production and preparation of an NPR steel material.
