Abstract:

Provided is a production method for a polarizing film having at least a polarizer, the method comprising an application step for applying a curable aqueous dispersion composition to at least one surface of a polarizer and a drying step for forming a resin layer by drying the curable aqueous dispersion composition, wherein the curable aqueous dispersion composition contains water as a solvent and a polymerizable compound A. The curable aqueous dispersion composition preferably contains, as the polymerizable compound A, a polymerizable compound that, at 25°C, has a viscosity of 100 mPa·s or more or is solid.
