Abstract:
Provided is a production method for a polarizing plate having a protective film, said production method including a step in which a protective film is laminated on one surface of a polarizing plate and pressed by passing same between a pair of bonding rolls. In the pair of bonding rolls, the surface hardness H1 of the bonding roll that comes in contact with the protective film and the surface hardness H2 of the bonding roll that comes in contact with the polarizing plate, as measured by a type A durometer hardness tester specified under JIS K 6253, fulfil the relationship H1 > H2.
