Abstract:
Provided is a method that makes it possible to easily and highly efficiently obtain a resin sheet while suppressing the occurrence of cutter marks, even when a thick workpiece is used. According to the embodiments of the present invention, a production method for a resin sheet involves layering a plurality of resin sheets to form a workpiece and cutting an outer circumferential surface of the workpiece with an end mill. Ultrasonic vibration is applied in the vertical direction of the end mill while the end mill is cutting. According to one embodiment, the vibration frequency of the ultrasonic vibration is 30–50 kHz. According to one embodiment, the amplitude of the ultrasonic vibration is 0.5–30 μm.
