Abstract:
This production system is provided with a first production line and a second production line arranged parallel to each other, and a first feeder replacement device and a second feeder replacement device respectively provided in the respective production lines disposed at an interval allowing the replacement devices to pass each other. The first feeder replacement device and the second feeder replacement device are each provided with a reflective optical sensor for sensing the presence or absence of an obstacle in a sensing area having a predetermined height from the floor surface. Further, the first feeder replacement device and the second feeder replacement device are both disposed above the floor surface so that one feeder replacement device, when passing the other feeder replacement device, does not enter the sensing area of the optical sensor of the other feeder replacement device.
