CLAIMS

1 - A production method, which prevents the passwords on the personalized customer cards (unit deposit card, password loading card, data loading card, etc.) from being read, with the aid of a metal apparatus (5) (box cutter, lancet, knife, razor blade, etc.), before the end user characterized in that it comprises the process steps of

- delivering the personalized customer cards (1 ) to the screen printing department, for the application of the U.V. dried lacquer to the field where the password is to be written,

- applying lacquer to the field where the password is to be written,

- applying the air-dried gray metal paint in a way to completely cover the field where the lacquer is applied (2),

- delivering the plates to the cutting department where they will be provided with the form of a card (1 ),

- performing the password application on the cards (1 ) and covering the password with the 2. layer label (4).

2- The production technique according to Claim 1 characterized in that it is applied on any type of card (1 ) (paper, polystyrene, PVC, metal, etc.) with any size.

PRODUCTION TECHNIQUE THAT PREVENTS THE READING OF PASSWORDS IN THE PRODUCTION OF PERSONALIZED CUSTOMER CARDS

Technical Field

The invention relates to a novel production technique for the production of the personalized customer cards with scrape band (unit deposit cards, password loading cards, data loading cards, etc.), which technique prevents the password from being read by way of removing the label that covers the passwords with the help of a metal apparatus (box cutter, razor blade, lancet, knife, etc.). Background of the Invention

In the state of the art, in order to prevent the passwords in the personalized customer cards bearing a password from being used by malevolent persons until the product reaches the end user and to avoid the situation that the end user encounters an invalid password, the passwords on the card are covered by the scrape bands during the production.

The production carried out with a technique, which is offered by the label producer companies as the sandwich label production technique to the relevant producer companies, generally involves the following steps:

As the 1 . layer on the field where the password is to be written (background of the customer card), the label with scrape function is adhered by means of the sealing machine on the carrier band with adhesive property. At the end of the process, the step of addition of the password to be used by the customer is carried out within the label field of the personalized customer card. Then, the 1. layer and a 2. layer with label property are adhered in a way to cover the passwords by means of the label affixing machine, thus completing the process. However, today undesirable situations may be encountered, such as reading and use of the passwords on the customer cards with scrape band, which are produced with the existing techniques, by the malicious persons before the product reaches the customer. This situation occurs by way of removal of the labels with adhesive property that cover the passwords, in a smooth manner and with the aid of a metal apparatus, reading and using the passwords, adhering again the label in an orderly manner and then selling the cards to the end customers.

In such events, both the supplier companies and the end users are stuck in a materially and morally difficult situation.

The invention relates to a novel 'Production Technique That Prevents the Reading of the Passwords in the Production of the Personalized Customer Cards' developed based on the shortcoming in the state of the art, and its object is to enable the access of the customer cards in a problem-free manner to the end user, and to eliminate the dissatisfaction of the company and the customer.

With said production technique, it is aimed to provide a solution to the material and moral losses encountered both by the supplier companies and the end customers as a result of the removal of the labels on the customer cards in a smooth manner with the aid of a metal apparatus, reading and using these passwords, adhering again the label in an orderly manner and then selling the cards to the end customers, and also to eliminate the conditions of misuse. The figures for 'the Production Technique That Prevents the Reading of the Passwords in the Production of the Personalized Customer Cards' developed to achieve the object of the invention are provided in the enclosed pages, in which:

The invention is a novel production technique developed to provide the password security for the production of the personalized customer cards (unit deposit card, password loading card, data loading card, etc.), which technique aims at preventing the reading of the passwords under the labels by malicious persons before the end users by way of removal of the layer with scrape feature (4) on the customer cards by such persons with the aid of a metal apparatus (5) (box cutter, lancet, knife, razor blade, etc.). The production technique according to the invention may be applied on any type of card (1 ) (paper, polystyrene, PVC, metal, etc.) with any size.

Before the personalized customer cards (1 ) are prepared for individual production, they are delivered to the screen printing department as a plate with completed offset printing, for the application of the lacquer with U.V. drying on the field where the password is to be written. Here, after the lacquer application process is completed on the field where the password is to be written, the air-dried gray metal paint is applied in a way to completely cover the field where the lacquer is applied (2), and the product is cut in order to prepare the same for individual use. In Figure-3, a representative view of the invention is provided in a stage in which the air-dried metal paint where the passwords will be written has been applied on the lacquered background (2) of the empty personalized customer card (1 ). After the password is written on the gray metal paint background (3) (Figure-4), the 2. layer label with scrape feature is adhered in a way to cover the passwords, with the help of a sealing machine. In Figure-5, a representative view may be seen, of the state where the process of covering with the scrape label (4) has been performed with the help of machine, after the completion of the password application.

The process according to the invention may be summarized as follows:

1 - The plates with completed offset printing are delivered to the screen printing department,

2- ln the screen printing department, the U.V. dried lacquer application process is performed in the field where the passwords are to be written,

3- After the lacquer application process, the air-dried metal paint is applied on the lacquer field (2) where the passwords are to be written,

4-After the completion of the processes in the screen printing department, the plates are delivered to the cutting department where they will be provided with the form of a card (1 ),

5-The process is completed upon the password application on the cards (1 ) delivered from the cutting department to the password application department, and covering the passwords with the 2. layer label (4).

Owing to this invention, even when the passwords written on the air-dried gray metal paint on the background of the password field of the customer card and the label (4) that covers the passwords are removed with the aid of a metal apparatus (5) (box cutter, lancet, knife, razor blade, etc.) as shown in Figure-8, said passwords remain between the gray metal paint (3) and the label (4) adhered on the same and may not be seen under any condition. However, in the existing techniques, the passwords become visible on the card surface after the password field is removed with a box cutter (5). Owing to the invention, a field is enabled to be formed, which prevents the passwords from being read even when the label (4) on the field where the password is written is removed with the help of a metal apparatus (5), and a solution is provided for the problems resulting from the reading and using of the passwords on the customer cards by malicious persons before the cards reach the end customer and from selling of the cards to the end customers, and also a solution is provided for the dissatisfaction of the company and the customer due to such reasons.

It is obvious that a person skilled in the art may implement the innovation put forward by the invention by using similar embodiments. Consequently, it must be considered that the similar-alternative embodiments or implementations will mean the violation of our application.
