Abstract:
A program creation assistance device (1) comprises: a common determination unit (13) that extracts common logic portions from an entire circuit in a sequence program and generates attached information indicating whether device allocations for circuit components in the same position are matching in all of the common logic portions, among circuit components included in the extracted common logic portions; a program component generation unit (program component registration unit (17)) that generates program components on the basis of the common logic portions and the attached information; and a substitution unit (component generation processing unit (19)) that substitutes each of the common logic portions in the sequence program with the program components and with the circuit components connected to input-output arguments of the program components, wherein the program component generation unit can select whether a user will generate input-output arguments for the circuit components in which the device allocations for the circuit components in the same position are matching in all of the common logic portions.
