Abstract:

This program creation assistance device displays, on a display device, a program display screen for displaying a program diagram and a tool display screen for displaying tools including program elements for creating a program diagram and a function block (FB) in which a series of processes including multiple functions is compiled as one set. The assistance device is provided with a guidance display mode. In the guidance display mode, a guidance display screen is displayed, in which the functions included in the FB and explanations of the functions are displayed in association with each other.
