Abstract:
A projection device comprises: a light source outputting image light; a projection lens projecting the output image light to the outside; a camera capturing an image of an object positioned relative to an external projection surface of the projected image light; a light blocking unit blocking the image light output in a predetermined section; and at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor: acquires illuminance information indicating the illuminance of the external projection surface; sets a blocking section to block the output image light on the basis of the illuminance information; sets an image capturing section to be within the blocking section; controls the light blocking unit to block the image light output in the blocking section; and controls the camera to capture an object in the image capturing section.
