Abstract:
This projection display device is provided with: a light source unit, which has a first light source unit that outputs first color light, and a second light source unit that outputs second color light having output intensity distribution that is different from that of the first color light; an image generation unit that generates an image on the basis of light outputted from the light source unit; and a projection lens unit, which projects, toward a projection surface, light outputted from the image generation unit, and which has a projection optical axis that is set by being shifted from a basic optical axis of the whole device. The output optical axis of the first light source unit is disposed by being shifted toward the direction opposite to the shift direction of the projection optical axis.
