Abstract:
There is provided a projection image display device including a display plane
(10) for displaying an image, projection means (12) for projecting an image on
the display plane (10), and imaging means (11) arranged on the same side of the
display plane (10) as the projection means (12) for imaging the display plane
(10). The imaging means (11) is arranged at a position where a position (12a) symmetric
with respect to the display plane of the projection means (12) is out of the range
of the field angle of the imaging means (11). By arranging the imaging means (11)
at a position where no direct reflection light of the light source of the projection
means (12) comes, it is possible to prevent generation of a hot spot.
