Abstract:
The projection-type display device is equipped with: an image display component for displaying an image; a projection unit for projecting the image being displayed by the image display component toward a projection surface; a light emission unit for irradiating the projection surface, at a smaller incident angle than that of projection light, with linear light which extends along a first direction within the projection surface; an imaging unit which has a different optical axis from that of the light emission unit, and which photographs the projection surface; and a signal processing unit for applying signal processing to an imaging signal output from the imaging unit. The imaging unit photographs the linear light emitted by the light emission unit, and the signal processing unit corrects distortion of the projected image on the basis of the photographed image of the linear light.
