Abstract:
A projection-welded joint according to one embodiment of the present disclosure comprises a steel sheet, a steel member, and a projection welding unit for joining the steel sheet and the steel member. The projection welding unit comprises: a melt solidification part; and a corona bond part located around the melt solidification part. The amount of carbon at the sheet thickness center of the steel sheet is 0.25 mass% or more, and the hardness at an outer edge of the corona bond part is lower than that at a position that is 1/4 of the sheet thickness of the steel sheet on the outer side of the corona bond part. Preferably, the steel sheet has a softened layer within a range of 20 μm depth from the surface on the side to which the steel member is joined. The hardness of the the softened layer is 95% or less of the hardness at the position that is 1/4 of the sheet thickness of the steel sheet.
